The History Graduate Student Association at Florida State University is pleased to host the 8th Annual Southeast Regional Graduate Student Conference on March 16th, 2016 in Tallahassee, Florida. The theme for the conference is “Reconstructing Nations, Reinventing People, and Reforming Societies.” The conference will examine aftermaths and new beginnings, and investigate how individuals, societies, ideas, and boundaries evolve throughout time. We aim to expand our understanding of this theme with an interdisciplinary approach including but not limited to the fields of Anthropology, Education, Gender and Sexuality, History, Literature, Modern Languages and Linguistics, Psychology, Religion, and the Visual Arts.
